Professional Pilot Program
About the Program:
Our program offers our students the ability to receive Vocational Diploma in Professional Pilot Program with Commercial Pilot License (CPL) within 45 weeks with 192 total instructions hours. This includes all the essential knowledge needed to become a successful pilot. We go above and beyond, by providing our students with the essential skills and knowledge to thrive in the aviation industry.
Credentials and Acts:
The act that governs Career Colleges is called the Career Colleges Act, 2005. This act ensures that career colleges meet certain standards for the programs they offer, as well as advertising, refund policies, and instructor qualifications.
Career Colleges operating in Ontario must be registered and have their programs approved by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. Flight 6ix Incorporated o/a Guelph Flight Centre (#204320) offers a Professional Pilot Program with Diploma certificate “approved as a vocational program under the Career Colleges Act, 2005.” Flight 6ix Incorporated is a Transport Canada Certified Flight Training Unit #12795

Application Criteria:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Private Pilot License (PPL)
- Category 1 Medical Certificate
- Students having begun CPL training at another school, wishing to join Guelph Flight Centre will be required to provide their Pilot Training Record to the Chief Flight Instructor for review and approval. The CPL training at Guelph Flight Centre will be modulated to account for previous training
