The Multi-Engine Rating is a fundamental step in your training towards a professional career as a pilot, if you have a Private Pilot License and intend to fly Multi-Engine aircraft. Prerequisites:
- The candidate must hold a Private Pilot License or a Commercial Pilot License
Training Requirements:
To receive your Multi-Engine Rating you must have:
- Must be proficient to pass the flight test. There is no minimum time.
- No written test.
- No exam required for the multi-engine rating
- A multi-engine flight test with a Transport Canada-approved pilot examiner is required for the multi-engine rating
