Aviation Management Professional Program
Starting in September 2021, the Algoma University School of Business and Economics, will commence the Aviation Management Professional Program (AMP) at its Brampton, Ontario Campus, with optional flight training in affiliation with Flight 6ix, in Guelph, Ontario.
Canadian citizens, residents, and international students are provided the opportunity to graduate with a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree with an Aviation Management Specialization. The AMP program allows students to receive an undergraduate degree as well as a Professional Pilot Diploma!
Students can take over five years to become commercial pilots and graduate with a bachelors degree as a typical undergraduate degree takes four years to complete and flight training can take an additional year or two. The AMP program saves students valuable time, by allowing them to complete all licensing requirements and training to become a professional pilot while simultaneously getting their undergraduate degree in just four years! Within four years, flight option students graduate with a Commercial Pilot License, Multi-Engine Rating, Group one Instrument Rating, and all licensing requirements to succeed as pilots in the aviation industry.
Graduates are equipped for entry level jobs in the most recognized and world renowned aviation companies. Alumni often work at airlines and flight centers as either pilots or flight instructors, capitalizing from the most exclusive undergraduate program available in the world!
